Where the data comes from
Every figure on this site was read from the organiser’s own pages on 22 September 2026. This page lists how, field by field, and what is missing.
How a race record is built
- 1
The listing
The organiser's race listing gives, for 159 races, the name, the date of the next edition, the city and country, the swim venue and the three course labels.
- 2
The race page
Each race's own page gives the average water temperature, the high and low air temperatures and the registration status. The water figure exists for 148 races.
- 3
The course page
Each course page is read in full. Loops, start type, elevation and cut-offs are extracted from its prose, then each figure is checked by hand against the sentence it came from before it is kept.
- 4
The refresh
Records are read again on a schedule, oldest reading first. A changed value replaces the old one with a new reading date, and nothing is carried over from a past edition.

Not published anywhere
- World championship slots
- On a separate page per race, and it changes every year.
- Altitude
- Not published. It can be derived from the coordinates, and is not yet.
- First edition
- Not published by the organiser.
Counted from this site’s own records, read on 22 Sept 2026.
Field by field
Course labels (flat, rolling, hilly)
Copied from the listing for every race. They are the organiser's own words, with no published definition, so two races labelled rolling can differ a lot.
Water and air temperature
Averages published on each race page. Water exists for 148 races, air for all 159. They describe previous editions and are published as a guide.
Bike and run elevation
Kept for 10 bike courses and 3 run courses whose page states a total. Figures published in feet are converted at 0.3048 m per foot. Two extracted values were rejected at review, because the sentence gave the height of a single climb and not the total for the course.
Overall cut-off
Kept for 4 races whose own pages state the total time limit. The others publish cut-offs in an athlete guide PDF, which this site does not yet read.
Swim start type
Kept for 25 races whose course page names the start format.
Entry fee, qualifying slots, altitude, first edition
Not published as fields by the organiser. The columns exist so that they can be filled without changing the site, and they stay empty until a source states them.
