How the ranking works
Each answer carries a weight: distance counts for 30 points, month and region for 20 each, terrain, swim venue, water temperature, course profile and open entries for 10 each. A race scores the points of every answer it satisfies, and the six best scores come first.
No answer is required. Skip a question and it simply carries no weight. Only upcoming races are ranked, and a race with no published water temperature cannot score the water question: the card says so.
The score is a ranking, not a verdict. Two races can miss the same point for very different reasons, so open the race sheet before you decide, and use the comparator to put up to four of them on the same rows.
